Coach Polito joined Utica University's football coaching staff in August 2025. Polito, a native of Hull, Massacusetts, joined the staff after graduating from Utica with a B.S. in Physical and Health Education in 2025. He played for Utica's varsity football team from 2022-2024 as a running back. In 14 games played, Polito rushed an average of 5.5 yards per carry, totaling 208 yards and one touchdown. He also tacked on one passing touchdown in his senior year. Following graduation, he transitioned into a role with the Utica football coaching staff, becoming the defensive backs coach.
